SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE
Our Summer intensive courses, in conjunction with the Young Performers Academy, will be taking place on the 14th to 18th of July and 11th to 15th August 2025. These fun and exciting week-long summer intensives courses are open to all students. Previous dance experience is desirable. There will be classes in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hop and Commercial.
Places on our Summer Intensive courses are limited so early booking is essential to avoid disappointment. To book your place simply click on the link below or HERE to visit our online booking page. Once the online form has been completed the College administrator will be in contact to organise payment and complete your booking. Students booking early will be given priority.

SUMMER INTENSIVE COURSE STRUCTURE
Our week-long Summer intensive courses, taking place from the 14th to 18th of July and 11th to 15th August 2025. The Summer Intensives take place at The College of Dance, St. Catherine’s Sports Centre, Marrowbone Lane, Dublin, D08 W5WC.
Over each week there will be classes in Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Hip-Hip and Commercial. Each day starts at 10am and will run until roughly 5pm.
The focus of the Summer intensives is for students to improve their technique and performance skills in an inclusive and friendly atmosphere. The Summer Intensives are designed for students from 12 years old to young adults. These fantastic weeks of dance are not to be missed so we strongly recommend booking early.

SUMMER INTENSIVE COURSE COSTS
The fee per week is €250. All bookings are on a first-come, first-reserved basis. No booking will be reserved without payment in full. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payments can be made by bank transfer to the College of Dance.
Once you have completed the online Summer Intensive booking form the College Administrator will be in touch to arrange payment.

DANCE EXPERIENCE
Due to the nature of the Summer Intensive previous dance experience is desirable. The program is designed for dancers from 12 years to young adults. This program runs for five days commencing at 10am to 5pm daily. We may accept slightly younger dancers with relevant experience, if in doubt please contact the college.

SUMMER DANCE INTENSIVE FAQ’s
What should I wear?
Students should bring appropriate dance clothing for each genre if they have it. If not, loose and comfortable clothing is fine. In terms of shoes, then if you own appropriate dance shoes for each style then bring these. If not then a good pair of comfortable trainers is acceptable. There is no need to bring Ballet pointe shoes.
What else should I bring with me?
Students should bring a drink, some snacks and lunch with them.
What ages is the Summer Intensive courses suitable for?
The Summer Intensive is designed for students from 12 years of age to young adults.
Summer Intensive COVID-19 Policy
The global pandemic COVID-19 has affected all business and the College of Dance is no exception. We take the safe management of our students & teachers incredibly seriously. Every student attanding the College of Dance must comply with the College of Dance & St. Catherine’s Community Sports Centre COVID-19 policies. How do I get to the College of Dance
The College of Dance is based in St. Catherine’s Sports Centre, Marrowbone Lane, Dublin, D08 W5WC. The building host a brand new purpose-built studio, a full gym, changing rooms with showers, secure student lockers and lecture rooms. The building is very safe and secure with St. Catherine’s staff always on duty.
Car: There is no car park but on-street parking in the local area.
Luas: The closest Luas stop is Fatima which is on the red Luas line. From this stop, it’s about a 5 minute walk.
Bus: The following buses have stops which are about 5 to 10 mins walk from the College of Dance – 27, 56a, 77-N, 77a, 77x & 151 (The Coombe / Marion Villas Stop). 13, 40, 68x & 123 (Kilmainham / Ewington Lane Stop).
How do I book a place?
Simply complete the online booking form which can be found HERE. Once you’ve completed your online application the College administrator will be in touch and guide you through paying for your booking and completing your reservations. If you have any questions you can email the College adminstrator on admin@collegeofdance.com.
How do I pay for the Summer Intensive?
All bookings are only confirmed once payment is made in full. Payment should be made into the College bank account. Details will be given once completed online applications have been receieved.
What's your cancellation policy?
All fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.
